Based in the heart of Scandinavia's largest resort, CG Snowboarding offers high quality snowboard training on the slopes of Åre, Sweden. Whether you're looking to gain confidence in your riding, or want to push your carving or freeriding to the next level, we can do it all. Add to that list taking your first snowboarding lesson, or an introduction to some new freestyle tricks for the complete package. I am able to provide your coaching in English, Swedish or French.​

HOW IT WORKS
FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET YOURSELF ALL BOOKED UP

DECIDE ON THE LENGTH OF LESSON

We offer flexible lesson durations to fit your goals. If you're short on time and just need a quick tune-up or confidence boost, a shorter session may be ideal. For more substantial improvements or to tackle specific challenges, consider a full-day lesson or multiple shorter sessions.

 

PRICING

2 Hours: SEK 2,000

3-Hour Half Day: SEK 2,800

5-Hour Full Day: SEK 4,500

EARLY BIRD

1 hour: SEK 1,000

8:00 i VM8:an or Duved depending on weather.

Prices are for 1-2 participants. Additional participants: SEK 300/person (up to 6 total).

Cancellation Policy:
We prefer rescheduling over cancellations. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to arrange an alternative time. We recommend travel insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations due to illness or injury.

Use the calendar shown here to find a time that suits you. GREEN days show that there is certain availability, RED days show that we are either closed or unavailable.

Consider all of the following when booking a slot:

​

  • Skip entering a finishing time, this will get filled in when you choose your lesson length, so just decide your start time.

  • Your phone number and email address are necessary to complete your booking as I will need to send you a payment link or an invoice in order to APPROVE your booking.

  • Booking a lesson at 8:00 will mean that the lesson will start at VM8:an as this is the only lift open then. It also means that this lesson is conditional to this lift being opened. Lessons starting at 9:00 will have a greater flexibility in terms of starting points.

  • COMMENTS field: Enter any information that may be relevant in terms of desired starting point, skill level, goals, age of participants, preferred language, etc.

Shortly after you have sent in your booking request, I will send you the payment details. Once the payment is completed I will APPROVE your booking.

AGREE ON A MEETING POINT

One of the great benefits of signing up for lessons with CG Snowboarding, is the extra flexibility we are able to offer. Once your lesson is approved, get in touch to set up a specific meeting point, which could mean I could meet you write at the door of your ski-in/ski-out apartment, or any area of the mountain you would like to develop. This is something we will discuss as we keep in mind your goals, the weather and the snow conditions. If no meeting special meeting point is determined, the lessons will generally start at VM6:an as it is located close to Åre By, the main village.

Food for thought regarding meeting points:

  • Rödkullen: Great for beginner to intermediate/advanced skill levels. Close to the snowpark and access to great carving slopes. Great for kids of all ages.

  • Björnen: Great for younger kids.

  • VM8:an and VM6:an: Best for more advanced riders who would like to develop their skills in carving or on steeps. Also good starting points for off piste lessons.

  • Duved and Tegefjäll: These are great options for the busier days/periods because of the reduced amount of traffic these areas get. They also offer great terrain for working on all skills.

WE SHRED!

Your lesson, your goals! We will start off by determining what you'd like to achieve, and in what timeframe this will be achievable. Based on snow conditions and weather, we set off and work tactically towards making you a better all round rider while keeping our eyes on the target.

When the lesson time is over, we say our goodbyes. Shortly after you will receive an email asking for a review of our time together.
